Dr. Rohee Dasgupta was Professor and Executive Director of the Centre for European Studies and founder of the Israel Studies Program at Jindal School in India. She is an anthropologist of Jewish Culture and Identity and holds a Ph.D. on the research of Renewal of Polish Jewish Identity and Rights in Poland post-1945.  She has conducted ethnographic studies in Poland, Israel, and the US on various projects related to Jewish identity. Presently she is a fellow at the Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies at Carleton University.
